With over 10 years’ experience in HR, I’ve worked across the public and private sectors, small businesses, large corporates and frontline teams. What I’ve learned over the years is this: effective HR isn’t about ticking boxes or relying on generic policies. It’s about helping businesses make confident, well-informed decisions about their people, even when the situation is complex, challenging or uncomfortable.

I founded Succession Consulting to give small and medium businesses access to practical, high-quality HR support. I work with businesses who want tailored support that’s grounded in employment law, commercial reality and actual outcomes.

My goal is to help business owners lead confidently, and help their people thrive in the process.

I’m most at home off the grid — racing through bush tracks, climbing steep hills in sideways rain, or hauling a bike through mud as part of an adventure race. It’s not everyone’s idea of fun, but I love the grit, the strategy, and the chaos, which probably says a bit about how I approach HR too.

My style is Fair. Honest. Clear. And focused on doing what’s right — not just what’s easy.
